As parent’s of [Little Mark] in his fifteen years we could not ask or think of anything better out of a child growing up. Mark’s school work has always been on an average of 85 to 100%. Mark has always supported his school in sports such as football, baseball and archery. And has always given 110%, not only the sports he contributes in school, but also hunting and fishing. As parents seeing our son take place in a youth group at Warrior Church of God, it a wonderful site seeing him worshipping the lord, this is an important role, and teaching youth to respect Gods Creation, which brings us to Marks passion, being in the outdoors. We love our son Mark, and respect him for what he loves.
My name is Mark Williamson; I am 15 almost 16 years old. I attend Mortimer Jordan High School, my passion is hunting, fishing, and pretty much anything in the outdoors. My dad big Mark, bought me my first BB Gun when I was 5 years old. From the first bird I harvested in my back yard, I was hooked! I graduated to squirrels, and then it was on to larger Game.
My dad has played a big role in keeping me in the outdoors. He is a Taxidermist, and he has shown me the steps. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing when I bring in trophy animals; I am able to mount my trophy myself. My Dad is vice President of our hunting club in “Alabama”, (Central Alabama Sportsmen’s Club). That’s where I met Mr. Wayne Burns. I became a member of the Outdoor Allstars Team in 2009. Wayne and I have shot many Shows and segments at the hunting club, shooting hogs with the Mathews and using Lost Camo as our pattern of choice. In Tuscaloosa this year I got the opportunity to shoot a nice 7 point and also getting to experience a guided hog hunt, it’s just an over whelming experience to get to share time in the outdoors with another hunter.
My advice to all kids and parents, get in the outdoors and share what God has created. It keeps me focused on positive things, and off the streets. Theres nothing any better than having God and the Outdoors. Special thanks to all the positive role models in my life, Mom, Dad, Buddies in the hunting club. And special thanks to Mr. Wayne Burns and Outdoor Allstars for all the opportunities and support.
